2023 will be a highly significant year for the Unit and as prior, will engage our time in the most extreme ways

We dedicated a great deal of 2020 to the Corona virus.
And as is the case for all, it did continue into 2021 while taking us by surprise (hence into 2022 and likely beyond).
Our focus has required a very substantial re-considering of existing (and prior) regard.
Our contribution has been and will continue to be the result of long and involved deliberation.
We were facing an emergency, a literal catastrophe, in point of fact,
Consequently, and as stated, it is our duty to continue looking at the future and dealing with its inherent uncertainties.
Along with many dedicated others we are winning in this endeavour.

Everything changes when, having heard the name and surname, the consciousness begins to draw the face of a specific person. When one understands what he and she did. For what they died.
As a rule, it is easier to put up with the death of one whose name is just a collection of faceless letters. Just think though how many people die every day somewhere nearby. Especially when one lives in a world where war is becoming almost the norm, and every new day takes the lives of dozens of our military personnel and civilians.
