Hundreds of women and young girls being sold and raped by Islamic State militants

.

The Islamic State has executed twenty women who refused to have sex with fighters, according to a Kurdish official. The women were initially held hostage in the terrorist group’s stronghold, Mosul, Iraq. “They were put to death because they refused to ‘participate in the practice of sexual jihad,'” stated a spokesman for the Kurdish Democratic Party in Mosul.

During 2014 the Islamic State kidnapped hundreds of women and children from the Yazidi community in the Sinjar district of northern Iraq. Many of the women and young girls, some younger than 13 years, were made into sex slaves, often sold, forced into marriage and raped.

However, it is not known whether the twenty executed women were from the Yazidi community.

Apparently the distribution of women and issues of money and costs has caused problems within the Islamic State  ranks. During 2014 year, the Islamic State released a pamphlet, showing how much each female captive would cost.

In the pamphlet, women are grouped up with the cattle market in a description of a dramatic decline in revenue. The prices are listed as; Yazidi or Christian women from ages 40-50, $43; 30 to 40-year-olds, $75; 20 to 30-year-olds, $86; ten to 20-year-olds, $130; one to nine-year olds, $172.

“The girls are peddled like barrels of petrol. One girl can be sold and bought by five or six different men,” stated Zainab Bangura with the UN’s special envoy for sexual violence in conflict. “Sometimes these fighters sell the girls back to their families for thousands of dollars of ransom.”

According to the pamphlet, “Customers are allowed to purchase only three items with the exception of customers from; Turkey, Syria and Gulf countries.”

First, the fighters get their choice, then the wealthy Middle-Easterners, and the “best looking” Yazidi virgins are sent to auctions, where they are “stripped naked and sold to the highest bidder.”

The Islamic State have a machinery in operation. They have a manual on how you treat these women. They have a marriage bureau which organises all of these ‘marriages’ and the sale of women. They have a price list.

Fortunately some young women have been able to escape Islamic State control, and have shared the absolutely horrific reality many women are imprisoned within.

“He told me he was going to rape me that same day, however ill I made myself. He took me home, tied up my hands and feet, and raped me,” expressed ‘Bashura’, 21, a girl whose name has been changed for protection, describing her experience trying to kill herself as a sex slave. “He raped me about five times a day. My sister was barely 14 years old when they raped her. I could hear her screaming and screaming but I couldn’t do anything as I was tied up.”

Bashura and two other girls were flown to the safety of the United Kingdom by AMAR, an international charity that assists people rebuild their lives after conflict.

According to Amnesty International, hundreds, maybe even tens of thousands, of women have “been forced to marry, ‘sold’ or given as ‘gifts’ to Islamic State fighters, or their cronies, and many held as sexual slaves are girls younger than age 13.”

Numerous intelligence reports indicate that many of the women held under Islamic State control have been so very severely abused, raped and dramatically traumatised that they were driven to end their own lives.

Teenage girls kidnapped by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria are being sold in these slave markets “for as little as a pack of cigarettes,” – UN envoy on sexual violence. Islamic State fighters run slave markets for newly abducted girls who have been captured in fresh offensives, prices range from as little as a pack of cigarettes to several hundred, or thousand dollars.

Sharia Law. Heartless and brutal Saudi Arabia school textbooks
Arabic school textbooks instructing children how to chop off hands and feet under Sharia law

.

Barbaric textbooks handed out in Saudi Arabian schools instruct children how to cut off a thief’s hands and feet under Sharia law, it has emerged.

The shocking books, paid for and printed by the Saudi government, also inform teenagers that Jewish people should be exterminated and homosexuals should be ‘put to death’.
Recent editions were obtained by the Institute for Gulf Affairs, in Washington, D.C., which says they should raise very real fears in the West over the use of jihadist language.

The books were published and handed out to 9th and 10th-graders, despite Saudi Arabia’s promises to clean up textbooks in the kingdom.

“This is where terrorism starts, in the education system. They show students how to cut (the) hand and the feet of a thief.’ Ali Al-Ahmed, director of the Institute for Gulf Affairs.

The textbooks were printed for the academic year and translated from Arabic by the institute.
In one, for ninth-graders, students are taught that the annihilation of the Jewish people is imperative.
One text reads in part: ‘The hour (of judgment) will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. There is a Jew behind me come and kill him.’

According to the translations, women are described as weak and irresponsible.
Al-Ahmed stated that the textbooks also call for homosexuals to be put to death ‘because they pose a danger at society, as the Saudi school books teaches’.

Al-Ahmed said further, ‘If you teach six million children in these important years of their lives, if you install that in their brains, no wonder we have so many Saudi suicide bombers.’

The Saudi Embassy in Washington D.C. was approached for comment, but there was no immediate response.
