On the Lone Wolf Terrorist

To introduce this and in generality – ‘Gender and the Suicide Bomber’
We are a part of a collective who share the understanding and significance of things, and via secret soliloquies ensure safety and continuation, come what may and as I have said before, they hold me, my gender, tightly in their embrace.
Our ingenuity knows and informs of the other minds, their pictures structured in frames too contrary to address. Yet we have to address them and deal for fear of their force, their will.
What equality of my contribution among men who see no value at all and would destroy me if they could, my whole life, its days in days that are joined together, whose content I have no right to own? Certain of those, through their pictures born of the completely bizarre and with most savage lies attached, would see fit to cheer me as a vehicle for perpetrating the worst atrocity, while denying my equal place among them. A somber idealism I do agree and to ask those yonder culprits and few closer still whose belief in pipe dreams would hold me confined, should it be the case, in servitude to they, the question why, would only reinforce their stance.
There is everything to live for among that achieved by the ones as we who understand, yes really and truly understand and hold sway among the rest. We are here with all of same and there is everything to live for and enjoy. There is no one here manifestly bad, no one lurking with a bomb, no one with a hidden cloak of explosive weave and who does not nor ever has known us, nor the value of our lives, nor the land we walk among. We can fathom what they know and we do not want it here, we can deny its rejoice in broken and bleeding fulfillment. We can deny its blood splatter made. This is where our secret society in undeniable authenticity does point and act, a secret society with the most inventive hand. It is a secret society with my gender’s attribute woven irrevocably in its fabric and manifests throughout those who act in accordance. Yes, this is how it be and those who as I said, see no value whatsoever in my gender sufficient to sneer and worse, much worse, cannot bear it at all. Yet here I am, here we are, the union of red, white and blue and they cannot touch us mentally nor through acts of barbarism should they so attempt, because we are the exemplars, the controllers, not they.
In the context of the lone wolf – what does ALONE mean? Aloneness in the current era is not necessarily a useful construct.
One can begin with a general and somewhat superficial examination of what the precipitating psychological factors for radicalisation are and even this, here, arrived at somewhat broad etiology, can act as a beckoning stage. Our becoming more specific can fulfill a void wherein the person can evolve gradually, as the process of mulling a possible connection to / identification with jihad, becomes more powerfully felt.
In a person’s wider environment there are a plethora of perceived antagonistic trends which serve to create susceptibility and / or add substance to the process of alienation / resentment already in motion. For example, perceived threat, to oneself or to others, perpetrated by the authorities who do not intend to be seen or understood that way.
A circumstance of made insecurity due to whatever reason, for example, the use of an authoritarian even paramilitary style mode of action, can arguably, serve as a sufficient antagonist. The ones who are radicalizing others seize upon these examples for their own ends. Another example; a family being turfed out from their home by aggressive bailiffs wearing tactical vests is therefore not useful strategy, because not only does it undermine collective dignity, creates grief, but fosters a sense of alienation and concomitant desire for a way of achieving parity, but which is not available. In response, it is the case that some do not tie these strands together and counter with the retort that ‘society is not that sensitive, not so susceptible’.
It is prudent to say that we have decided to keep this particular material from view for now. The reason is because we argue / discuss in depth the very real potential for a ‘would be radicalised individual’ to become so by virtue of wandering within what we say. It is not possible to predict who, nor how this process might emerge – a state of becoming that could transpire, a perceived dynamic which ‘clicks’ in the mind – something that was not there before, or perhaps was so to whatever extent. We live in an increasingly dangerous world, the threat of terrorism manifest and we think (as with certain topics within our remit), that it is far better to remain on the side of caution.
