We are to creatively explore an altogether new format.

Rather than display material in article fashion, which is the norm, we are to creatively experiment with a three-dimensional presentation. This will provide us with the opportunity to tie together issues which are currently lagging behind, but most importantly; to include what is current and controversial in what we are about in relation to the international arena.

Further, that in delving this way, into what are live and essentially deep and multifaceted dynamics, we can constantly update, in what can be referred to as ongoing ‘story’ replete with actors, their inner and outer character. What happens is essentially better understood this way.

It has to be said also, that if one examines the story’s content, then much of what is the most controversial and bothersome of all will greet.

Interesting?

.

NARRATIVE : A story or account of events, experiences, whether true or fictitious. The art, technique, or process of narrating, or of telling a story.

A story that connects and explains a carefully selected set of supposedly true events, experiences, intended to support a particular viewpoint or thesis.

Below is the original brief, in process of modification

The intention in this Section is to focus not only upon collective action, the underlying and constantly changing geopolitics, but consider the question; what is the significance for the individual/s involved, and this begs a multiplicity of considerations, some owning conflicting points of view.  Thus, in its wide sweep of endeavor of what concerns us, is required not only a portrayal of things as they are outwardly made to appear (we mirror this pictorially and in writing), but engage in frequent pauses to consider the individual affect and this, in great depth.

For example, (and though we are not by any means confined to the subject), Olga’s interest is in exploring the mental and physical aspects of terrorism upon the person and which spill over into other close domains.  For example; What about when one is in danger, what of fear and coping?  What is built in to the training programs for those whose role is combat? What does it mean to face threat, to become assimilated to fear?  Is there such a thing as daring and winning in the end as one might assume from reading – either for the individual/unit concerned or indeed, the wider collective, because within are a plethora of considerations and we think that these are all valuable, necessary and interesting.  They are so because of the source and immensity of both the threats and the reactions to them which are engaged.

Though as stated, in considering the individual psyche, we are not only focused upon this particular subject area.  One can justifiably ask the question; when we consider and engage in courses of action, what is it that we are doing?  Do we pay attention to the individual circumstance before, or after?  What does the question involve?  Does it involve a dichotomy that enables the course of action to transpire, thus to absolve from the responsibility of what does ensue?  What of guilt, responsibility and conscience?

Approaching from a different direction, always a good thing to do for what it might suggest, one might ask the question; What of the thoughts and actions of the outside world as we peer out and ‘they’ in turn look toward us?  So, we address this because as with those becoming affected, we show it all exactly for what it is, hiding absolutely nothing whatsoever of the extremity

We hope to display a multiple array of analyses.  Not all are illustrative of uni-polarity, moreover, are of different voices, not all are representative of the present time.  Certain will overlap and others stand-alone both in subject and presentation.  For example; a useful way to display character is to present actual and vivid recollection, such that the person is the central facet that bears the deeply personal and complex relationship with circumstance.

This is about us, but we are we attempting to alter reality

(C-II W-L) We have many articles in progress, eight hundred or so, which are very significant in terms of their relevance and depth of content.  These reside beneath the umbrella of; ‘What really is analysis?’ ‘What really is information?’ ‘What really is power? ”What really is morality/immortality?

We want to be interesting to many, though we can’t be this to everyone.  But importantly, to be free of the dilettantism that often can pervade in respect of what we are about and there are a multitude of ways to achieve this status, – some not invented yet
